About Nautilus Rigging
Nautilus Rigging was established in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 2007 to develop our innovative safety concepts to produce a new, versatile and SAFER type of lifting hook that eliminated the inherent “pinch and trap” hand injuries associated with the use of traditional lifting hooks.
Our three-year development programme culminated in the Nautilus Hook, an evolution for lifting hook safety, with introduction the unique, patented, safety handle and ergonomic one-handed operating motion, simple easy and safe. ASME award-winning safety features.
Today, Nautilus continues this ethos of technical leadership with the introduction of the advanced Nautilus automatic double locking (NDL) hooks, setting a new industry wide standard of intrinsic safety and operational integrity for lifting hooks.
Consistently highest quality finished product is our priority at Nautilus Rigging. To ensure we achieve this goal Nautilus has restructured the group’s core operations, moving from far east supply and establishing new manufacturing facilities in the UK’s “black country” and heartland of steel forging. Our in-house production and QA controls provide full traceability, from raw materials to individual numbering and final static proof tests. The advanced Nautilus NDL Hooks are industry’s effective “fail safe” lifting hooks.
